Women’s Ministry

The goal of the Harvest Outreach Women’s Ministry is to provide women an opportunity to take a few minutes for themselves. Women spend much time providing, nourishing, encouraging and being there for others; therefore, they need times of personal refreshing. At each meeting women spend time together in fellowship and ministry to one another. Child care is provided so that women with young children can attend. Harvest Outreach Women’s Ministry is under the direction of Debbie Welty.

Project Linus:

“Blanketing Kids with Care”
Also under the oversight of the Harvest Outreach Women’s Ministry is the Project Linus effort. Every child needs a security blanket — especially kids who are seriously ill or who have undergone some kind of trauma. Project Linus makes sure these children have something to snuggle up with. Our ladies create homemade, washable blankets of all sizes and styles and distribute them to kids “in need of a big hug.” Project Linus coordinator is Cindy Smathers.
